-blushes beet red-

I was very shy posting this... why? Well, it's my first time drawing an actual person that I've never met before in person. And he's becoming so well known so I'm kind of intimidated in posting this in a way... I guess it's because the guy is so beautiful that I'm kinda nervous as to what people will say about my interpretation. n////n;; So please be gentle.

But anyway, I'm sure some of you are wondering, "Who the hell is Prince Poppycock?"

Well, I'm going to tell you!

On this year's of America's Got Talent, a man named John Quale entered the competition to fulfill his dream to be able to sing for a living. He looked like your ordinary guy...that is until he becomes his character, Prince Poppycock.

Now when I first saw Prince Poppycock - my jaw DROPPED. Unlike the majority of the audience in the auditions episodes, my jaw dropped because of the sheer beauty. Literally, I found this guy to be the most beautiful guy I've ever seen. (...actually the first guy I call pretty. XD)

And when it came to him singing - oh my God. I instantly fell in love with him. I love his voice, his fashion/make-up work, and personality.

He's a beautiful person on the inside and the outside - and I'm not just talking about Prince Poppycock, I'm talking about John as well.

I just had to draw Prince Poppycock because the character literally brought out the artist in me. It's been YEARS since I've had that feeling. (The last person to make me want to do art was Jim Henson)

For the love of God if you haven't seen/heard him yet, go check out these videos right now.

I just love, love, love, John/Prince Poppycock. He's such an inspiration to so many people.

As for this pic, I'm actually quite proud of it! It was nice to try to work on detailing for once.

-awkward blush- ...sorry for sounding kinda obsessive. It's just that it's been years since I felt so pumped to draw something - and I thank John Quale for that very much so.

Oh and be sure to check out, PrincePoppycock.com
